The second language acquisition is done both consciously and unconsciously by the learners. The unconscious acquisition of the second language is done picking up the phonologies of the language. Digging deeper into the literature of most authors in this field, we identify two models that explain the relationship between the ages of the learners and the acquisition of second language.
